A useful aluminium formwork proposal starts with the project information behind the enquiry. A product name and approximate area may be enough for an initial conversation, but the system layout, quantity, interfaces, and delivery plan depend on the building geometry and construction sequence.
Start with the drawing set
Share the latest architectural and structural drawings available for the relevant floors. Typical-floor plans, wall layouts, slab plans, sections, elevations, opening schedules, staircases, shafts, cores, balconies, and non-standard zones help the engineering team understand what must be formed and repeated. Clearly mark revisions so superseded geometry is not carried into the proposal.
Identify repetition and variation
Aluminium formwork is closely connected to repetition. State how many floors, blocks, towers, or villa types use the same geometry and identify transfer floors, podiums, roof levels, facade changes, or mirrored units. A clear repetition schedule helps separate reusable typical-floor material from project-specific panels.
Describe the planned casting sequence
Explain whether walls and slabs are intended to be cast monolithically or through separate vertical and horizontal stages. Share the target floor cycle, concrete sequence, planned work fronts, and any limits on striking, shifting, or storage. These details affect panel organization, support components, and site handling.
Include dimensions and site constraints
Floor-to-floor height, wall thickness, slab thickness, beam depths, opening sizes, and special concrete profiles should match the current structural design. Also note crane or hoist access, unloading areas, storage space, restricted access, and the intended project start or delivery date.
State the commercial requirement clearly
Provide the approximate required quantity or area, project location, purchase or refurbishment interest, and expected delivery sequence. For existing inventory, attach panel photographs, old drawings, inventory lists, and a description of its condition so reuse or modification can be assessed separately from new supply.
